TEXPLORE (TECHNICAL QUIZ)
Rules and Regulations:-
●Only team entries are allowed and each team should not have more than two members. Replacement of any participant of a team is not allowed after registration. Participants are not permitted to use mobile phones or other electronic gadgets during the quiz. Questions will be in multiple formats, including multiple-choice, true/false statements, one-word answers, and visual-based questions. The quizmaster's decision will be final and cannot be challenged.
QUALIFYING ROUND:-(In case more than 10 teams registered)
●Each team will receive a question paper containing 20 objective-type questions. The time limit for this round is 20 minutes (1 minute for each question), with 1 mark awarded per correct answer. The top 10 teams with the highest scores will qualify for the stage rounds, and the venue and time will be announced during the qualifying round. .
STAGE ROUNDS:-
Round 1:
General Round- Each team will be asked three objective questions with options, with 10 marks for a correct answer and a 5-mark deduction for a wrong answer. Teams will have 15 seconds to answer. If a team cannot answer, it can be passed and the first team to hoist the pluck card will earn 5 marks for a correct answer and lose 2 marks for a wrong one. Discussion within the team is allowed. The top 6 teams advance to the Visual Round.
Round 2:
Visual Round- Each team will answer questions related to an image/logo displayed on the screen. This round consists of three rounds, with each team receiving one image per round. Correct answers earn 10 marks, while wrong answers incur a 5-mark deduction. Answering time is 10 seconds, and no passing is allowed to the next team (Audience can answer subjected to Quiz master’s request.). The top 4 teams proceed to the Rapid-Fire
Round 3:
Rapid Fire Round- Each team must answer 10 questions within 90 seconds. One member answers but can take help from their partner. If a team cannot answer the question, they can pass for the next question till they finish all ten questions. 10 marks are awarded for each correct answer, and 5 marks are deducted for each wrong answer.
